An Audio Mind, established in 1983
I’ve been interested in audio for as long as I can remember. I spent my teenage years crewing for various PA companies and helping out with mobile discos, school theatre productions and concerts. For the past 20 years I have been either in my studio mixing bands, choirs, podcasters and solo artists, or out in the music venues as a live engineer where my attention to detail not only keeps everything sounding great and the punters happy, but also ensuring the performers are comfortable with the on stage sound.

I offer a range of freelance audio services, both live and in the studio.
Stem mixing
Send me your recorded stems and I'll craft them into a release ready record. We can discuss your goals at every stage of the project to ensure the results are perfect.
Live Mixing
With decades of experiencing mixing bands, I will ensure that everything sounds great, both for the punters and the performers. All tech specs can be catered for, from small grass roots venues to large festival stages.
Live Recording
Capture that killer gig forever! All my live mixing consoles support multitrack recording. I can take a multitrack recording from your gig, mix and master it so you can either release it, make a live EP, add a live version to a single release, incorporate it into a live video edit, or just keep it!
Audio Mastering
I use the latest and most advanced 'in-the-box' audio software and techniques to give your track its finishing touches. Mastering is included on all Stem Mixing packages, or you can send me your mixed tracks for mastering.
Recording
I have a long standing partnership with Island Farm Studio to provide fully engineered recording sessions. James at IFS is a seasoned recording engineer, producer and musician, with access to the best microphones money can buy, along with some of the best session players around, should you wish to fill in any gaps. James also runs Island Farm Records, so between us we can take your project from demo to distribution with no steps missed out.
